Silent spring

Rachel Carson was an avid believer that DDT's in pesticide were not only harming plants birds and animals, but humans as well. Using these chemicals do not fix any problem because insects develop resistance to these chemicals. The chemicals kill the predators of the insects and leave the way open for the insects to take over in greater and greater numbers. I also agree when she thinks that  1)Following the advice of chemical companies leads to widespread and needless destruction and 2) using natural enemies of specific insects is a more economical, safer and longer-lasting solution.
I believe in the work that she is doing.

I do believe that certain situations might require chemicals and that Carson might not give in th the possibility of their use. I think she might need to be more flexible in this matter.

This research could be very useful for someone looking to find correlation between places and diabetes and the amount of money they are expending.

three diets for three blood types

The logic of this diet is using certain things and eating certain things according to your blood type will help you. The evolution of man is a way to describe the way man has evolved and how people have all emerged from the same group of people. this is further proved by the evidence of mitochondrial eve and everyone sharing at least some of the DNA as everyone else

What is life?

What is life? I thin there can be many different things that can categorize things as being alive or not. I believe the only thing to define things as being alive without a doubt is by looking at what things do. If a virus or a protein as an agenda and tries to protect its self and sustains its own life. It is alive.

The quick fox jumps

The quick fox jumps over the lazy brown dog.
This project was  really fun for me. I think the most beneficial think to get out of this was that our brain works in many different ways. and no two people learn exactly the same way. This first experiment we did out in the hall was really cool. It showed how hard it was to communicate a simple phrase like "the quick fox jumps over the lazy brown dog" without words.
